One Eyed Dowg and the Pirate Island Treasure

Far across the roaring seas of the Marble Kingdom sailed the roughest, toughest, and loudest sea captain ever to command a pirate ship.
His name was One Eyed Dowg.
One Eyed Dowg was a rugged marble covered in swirling ocean blues, stormy greys, dark browns, and silver streaks that looked like crashing waves beneath moonlight. Across one side of his marble was a large black eye patch, and he wore a tiny pirate hat decorated with crossed bones and a gold anchor.
Nobody knew exactly how he lost his eye.
Depending on the day, his story changed completely.
Sometimes he claimed a sea monster stole it.
Other times he said he lost it during a sword fight against twelve pirate sharks.
Bernard the talking dog suspected most of the stories were nonsense.
But everyone agreed on one thing.
One Eyed Dowg was the greatest treasure hunter on the Seven Seas.
One foggy evening at Bablock Hythe, a battered old pirate ship drifted silently up the River Thames.
Its sails were torn.
Its mast leaned sideways.
And loud snoring echoed from somewhere onboard.
“That feels worrying,” muttered Bernard.
Suddenly One Eyed Dowg burst from below deck carrying a giant treasure map and half a fish sandwich.
“Adventure awaits!” he shouted dramatically.
Jack Mitchell sighed.
“That usually means danger.”
Dowg explained that he had finally discovered the location of the legendary Skullstone Treasure, hidden for centuries on Deadman’s Reef — a cursed pirate island surrounded by deadly storms, giant whirlpools, and haunted shipwrecks.
According to legend, the treasure included mountains of gold, magical pearls, and the lost Compass of Storms.
Naturally everyone wanted to find it.
Unfortunately…
so did Evil Sprocket.
“He stole half me map!” growled One Eyed Dowg.
Within hours Jack, Imogen, Bernard, Lenny, and One Eyed Dowg boarded the pirate ship Black Barnacle and sailed into dangerous waters beneath dark storm clouds.
The journey quickly became chaotic.
Giant waves smashed across the deck.
Dragon Fire somehow appeared swinging from the rigging holding fireworks.
And Bernard became violently seasick after approximately seven minutes.
“I miss land,” he groaned miserably.
As they approached Deadman’s Reef, strange glowing fog surrounded the ship while dozens of ancient wrecks drifted silently through the water.
Then came the sound.
WOOOOOOOOOO…
Ghostly pirate voices echoed across the sea.
“Oh splendid,” sighed Bernard. “Haunted pirates.”
At the centre of the reef stood Skullstone Island itself — a jagged black island covered in twisted trees, giant cliffs, and ancient pirate ruins.
Deep inside the island caves lay the hidden treasure chamber.
But reaching it would not be easy.
The island was filled with traps left by the original pirate marbles centuries earlier.
Exploding bridges.
Rolling cannonballs.
Collapsing tunnels.
At one point One Eyed Dowg accidentally triggered six traps in under two minutes.
“Still got it,” he said proudly while hanging upside down from a rope net.
Finally the team reached the legendary treasure chamber.
Mountains of gold glittered beneath crystal torches.
Pearls overflowed from giant chests.
And floating above a stone pedestal was the Compass of Storms glowing bright blue.
But standing beside it was Evil Sprocket and his robot pirate crew.
“Ah,” smirked Sprocket. “You’re too late.”
Suddenly he activated a giant drilling machine aimed directly at the treasure vault walls.
Naturally.
The ancient chamber began collapsing instantly.
Water burst through the cave walls.
The island shook violently.
And worst of all…
the ghost pirate guardians awakened.
Huge glowing pirate spirits emerged from the walls carrying spectral cutlasses and roaring angrily through the chamber.
“This treasure belongs to the seas forever!” thundered the ghost captain.
Bernard hid behind a treasure chest immediately.
“Why is every island haunted?”
As chaos erupted, One Eyed Dowg realised something important.
The treasure itself was never meant to be stolen.
The Compass of Storms protected the seas surrounding Deadman’s Reef. Removing it completely would destroy the balance of the ocean currents.
Working together, Jack and Imogen fought through collapsing tunnels while Lenny shut down Evil Sprocket’s drilling machine.
Meanwhile One Eyed Dowg bravely rolled toward the ghost pirate captain.
“We’re not here to steal your seas,” he declared.
The ghost captain studied him carefully.
Then slowly lowered his glowing sword.
Using the Compass of Storms, One Eyed Dowg redirected the flooding seawater safely back through the reef tunnels while the others escaped the collapsing chamber.
Moments later—
BOOOOOOOOM!
The treasure cave sealed itself forever beneath the island.
But the seas around Deadman’s Reef became calm once again.
The ghost pirates saluted One Eyed Dowg respectfully before vanishing into silver mist across the ocean.
Back aboard the Black Barnacle, the exhausted crew watched the sunrise spread across peaceful waters.
One Eyed Dowg grinned proudly.
“Well,” he announced, “that were an excellent adventure.”
“You nearly sank three times,” Bernard reminded him.
“Aye,” nodded Dowg. “Excellent.”
Before Jack left, One Eyed Dowg handed him a tiny silver pirate coin marked with a storm compass.
“What does it do?” asked Jack.
Dowg smiled beneath his eye patch.
“It always points toward adventure.”
Bernard groaned loudly.
“That is exactly what I was afraid of.”
