How King Marbles Are Made
From molten glass to finished marble, every King Marble follows a carefully controlled process combining heat, timing, and craftsmanship.
Classic Glass Marbles
Classic King Marbles are formed by melting high-quality glass at temperatures exceeding 1,000 degrees Celsius. At this extreme heat, the glass becomes molten and perfectly workable.
Carefully controlled colour is introduced, and the molten glass is shaped into perfectly balanced spheres. As the marbles cool, they harden into smooth, durable glass with the weight, roll, and finish required for traditional play.
Handmade & Painted Marbles
Handmade King Marbles are created individually. Each marble is carefully painted by hand, allowing for unique patterns, depth, and character that cannot be replicated by machines.
The process is precise and time-based — it takes exactly 49 seconds to create each handmade marble. This controlled timing ensures consistency while preserving the individuality of every piece.
Whether machine-formed or hand-painted, every King Marble is designed to be played with, collected, and admired — combining science, craftsmanship, and imagination.
