Green Crimson and the Secret of the French Marble Castle

Far across the sparkling seas of the Marble Kingdom, in the beautiful countryside of France, stood an ancient stone castle surrounded by vineyards, flower gardens, and twisting cobbled streets.
Hidden deep beneath that castle was a mysterious marble vault that had remained locked for over five hundred years.
And somewhere inside the vault lay the legendary Emerald Crown of Kings.
Many marbles had searched for it.
None had ever returned with it.
One cool autumn morning, a brave marble named Green Crimson arrived in France aboard a small wooden river boat.
Green Crimson was famous throughout the Marble Kingdom for his deep emerald colour mixed with fiery crimson streaks that shimmered like glowing lava beneath green glass. He was bold, intelligent, and loved solving mysteries.
As he rolled through the quiet French village near the castle, he noticed something strange.
Every clock in the village had stopped at exactly the same time.
11:11.
Even stranger…
Nobody in the village would speak about the castle.
An old marble baker finally whispered nervously:
“The castle changes at night.”
Green Crimson raised an eyebrow.
“What do you mean?”
The baker leaned closer.
“Corridors move. Doors vanish. Shadows whisper.”
Most marbles would have left immediately.
Green Crimson smiled.
“Sounds interesting.”
That evening, under silver moonlight, Green Crimson crossed the old stone bridge leading to the castle.
The giant wooden doors creaked open by themselves.
Inside, dusty chandeliers hung from enormous ceilings, and faded paintings stared silently from the walls.
Then suddenly…
CLANG!
The doors slammed shut behind him.
A deep voice echoed through the castle.
“Only the worthy may find the Emerald Crown.”
Green Crimson remained calm.
As he explored, he discovered the castle was filled with strange puzzles.
One room had moving floors that shifted like giant chessboards.
Another corridor contained hundreds of mirrors reflecting endless copies of himself.
In the grand library, thousands of ancient books flew wildly through the air whenever he touched the shelves.
But Green Crimson noticed something important.
Every puzzle contained tiny green and crimson markings hidden somewhere nearby.
“They’re guiding me,” he realised.
For hours he followed the clues through secret staircases, hidden passages, and rotating walls until he finally reached a circular underground chamber.
At the centre stood the Emerald Crown glowing brightly beneath a beam of moonlight.
But guarding it was a gigantic stone gargoyle shaped like a dragon.
Its glowing eyes suddenly opened.
“ANSWER THE RIDDLE,” it thundered.
The chamber shook violently.
Green Crimson listened carefully.
The gargoyle growled:
“I speak without a mouth and hear without ears.
I have no body, but I come alive with wind.
What am I?”
Green Crimson thought quietly.
Then he smiled.
“An echo.”
For a moment, silence filled the chamber.
Then the dragon slowly bowed its enormous head.
“You are worthy.”
The Emerald Crown floated gently into the air and settled before Green Crimson.
The castle walls began glowing warmly for the first time in centuries.
When Green Crimson returned to the village the next morning, all the clocks suddenly began ticking again.
The villagers cheered as church bells rang across the French countryside.
The old baker grinned.
“You broke the castle’s curse!”
Green Crimson simply adjusted the glowing crown carefully and smiled.
“No,” he replied calmly.
“I just listened to what the castle was trying to say.”
And from that day forward, the legend of Green Crimson became one of the greatest stories ever told throughout the Marble Kingdom and the villages of France.
