Sabre Squeezle and the Frozen Fang Valley

Far beyond the icy mountains of the Marble Kingdom lay the dangerous wilderness of Frozen Fang Valley — a land of snowstorms, frozen caves, and giant icy forests where ancient creatures still roamed beneath the glaciers.

And protecting the valley was the fierce but noble marble known as Sabre Squeezle.

Sabre Squeezle was a powerful marble covered in swirling snow whites, icy blues, silver greys, and sharp crystal streaks that looked like frozen claws trapped inside glass. Across his shell stretched long curved markings shaped like giant sabre teeth.

He wore thick fur-lined armour, carried an enormous crystal spear, and travelled everywhere beside his best friend —

a giant sabre-toothed snow tiger named Blizzard.

Blizzard was huge, fast, and incredibly strong.

His icy white fur shimmered beneath moonlight while his giant crystal fangs glowed pale blue in the snowstorms.

Bernard the talking dog later described him as:

“A magnificent creature I would prefer not to annoy.”

One freezing evening at Bablock Hythe, snow suddenly began falling despite it being the middle of summer.

The river froze solid.

Icicles formed on rooftops.

And Dragon Fire became trapped inside a frozen fountain after trying to “fight winter with fireworks.”

Then a giant snow sled burst across the ice carrying Sabre Squeezle and Blizzard.

“The Frost Caves are collapsing!” Sabre shouted urgently.

Naturally.

Deep beneath Frozen Fang Valley rested the Ice Fang Crystal, an ancient frozen gem that controlled the balance of winter storms throughout the northern lands.

But recently violent tremors had begun shaking the frozen caves.

Entire glaciers cracked apart.

Blizzards spread uncontrollably.

And worst of all…

something ancient had awakened beneath the ice.

Without hesitation Jack Mitchell, Imogen, Lenny, Bernard, and Sabre Squeezle journeyed north aboard giant snow sleds pulled by Blizzard himself.

The Frozen Fang Valley looked breathtaking.

Huge glaciers sparkled beneath the moonlight.

Frozen waterfalls hung like crystal curtains.

And giant snow-covered forests stretched endlessly across the mountains.

Unfortunately…

the entire valley was descending into chaos.

Ice storms howled through the skies.

Avalanches crashed down the cliffs.

And giant cracks spread across the frozen ground.

“This,” Bernard shouted through the blizzard, “is too much weather!”

At the centre of the valley stood the entrance to the Frost Caves glowing pale blue beneath the snow.

Inside, enormous ice tunnels stretched deep beneath the mountains.

Ancient frozen carvings covered the walls.

And strange roaring noises echoed from far below.

Then suddenly—

CRAAAAAAACK!

A gigantic frozen claw burst through the cavern floor.

Moments later an enormous Ice Mammoth covered in crystal armour and glowing blue tusks charged through the tunnels.

The ancient Guardian Mammoth had awakened.

Long ago it protected the Ice Fang Crystal from invaders.

But centuries trapped beneath the glaciers had made it confused and aggressive.

Unfortunately…

Evil Sprocket had secretly drilled into the lower ice chambers searching for frozen crystal energy to power his newest invention:

The Arctic Freeze Ray Supreme.

Naturally.

His machine had cracked the Ice Fang Crystal itself.

Now the Guardian Mammoth believed the entire valley was under attack.

Ice quakes shook the mountains.

Frozen storms spiralled through the skies.

And the glaciers began breaking apart.

“If the Ice Fang Crystal shatters,” warned Imogen, “the winter storms could freeze half the kingdom!”

Working together, Jack, Imogen, and Lenny battled through collapsing ice tunnels while Sabre Squeezle and Blizzard faced the raging Guardian Mammoth.

The frozen battle echoed through the caverns.

Blizzard leapt across icy cliffs while giant mammoth tusks smashed crystal pillars apart.

Snowstorms blasted through the caves.

At one point Bernard slid uncontrollably down an ice tunnel directly into a pile of frozen fish.

“I strongly dislike northern adventures!”

Then Sabre Squeezle noticed something important.

The Guardian Mammoth was not attacking from anger.

It was in pain.

Dark cracks spread through the glowing ice crystals embedded in its frozen armour.

The damaged Ice Fang Crystal had corrupted the ancient guardian’s connection to the valley.

As the caverns collapsed around them, Sabre Squeezle slowly lowered his spear.

“We protect this land too,” he said firmly.

The giant mammoth paused.

Meanwhile Jack and Lenny shut down Evil Sprocket’s unstable freeze machine while Imogen carefully channelled healing light into the cracked Ice Fang Crystal.

Sabre Squeezle and Blizzard bravely guided the Guardian Mammoth toward the crystal chamber itself.

Finally—

WHOOOOOOOSHHHH!

A magnificent silver-blue wave spread across Frozen Fang Valley.

The glaciers stabilised.

The blizzards calmed.

The Guardian Mammoth’s crystal armour glowed peacefully once more.

And the ancient creature slowly bowed its giant head before returning to the frozen wilderness beneath the snow.

The valley had been saved.

That evening the marbles of Frozen Fang Valley held a giant winter feast beneath glowing ice lanterns while snowflakes drifted peacefully across the mountains.

There were roasted winter berries, frozen crystal cakes, and giant fires blazing against the icy cliffs.

Even Bernard admitted the warm mountain soup was “extremely acceptable.”

Before Jack returned home, Sabre Squeezle handed him a tiny crystal fang glowing softly with icy blue light.

“What does it do?” asked Jack.

Sabre Squeezle smiled proudly.

“It reminds you that true strength protects others.”

Bernard carefully held the frozen crystal fang while Blizzard purred softly beside the fire.

“I like the tiger,” Bernard admitted quietly. “From a respectful distance.”
